Homogeneous white liniment with low specific smell.

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS. Synthomycin effective against many types of gram-positive and gram-negative  microorganisms  (Staphylococcus  spp., Streptococcus  spp.,  Neisseria  gonorrhoeae,  Neisseria meningitidis, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, Salmonella  spp.,  Shigella  spp.,  Klebsiella  spp.,  Serratia spp., Proteus stuartii, Yersinia spp.), a well rickettsiae, spirochetes. The drug has bacteriostatic effect. Its mechanism of antimicrobial action involves a violation of protein synthesis of microorganisms.

APPLICATION. Treatment of dogs and cats purulent and inflammatory diseases of the mucous membranes and  skin  (dermatitis,  eczema,  frostbite,  thermal  and chemical burns) that are caused by pathogens susceptible to Synthomycin (chloramphenicol).

DOSAGE. The drug is applied on the affected surface with a thin layer in the form of drainage, gauze bandages or tampons at intravaginal pathologies 1-2 times a day up to complete recovery.

CONTRAINDICATIONS. Do not use in case of inflammatory processes of fungal etiology.
