Composition

1 ml of the drug contains active substances:

Dextrate ferric iron complex – 100 mg.

Pharmacological characteristic

Complex compound of iron hydroxide and low-molecular dextrin replenishes iron deficiency, stimulates hematopoietic system, increases hemoglobin level, increases the number of red blood cells and improves the safety of young farm animals.

Application

Prevention and treatment of sows, piglets, calves, lambs, minks with iron deficiency anemia.

Dosage

Ferolife is injected deep intramuscularly in the area of  thigh or neck. Before the application of the drug bottle is heated to a temperature of 36-38 ° C.

Prophylactic doses:

– Piglets 3-4 – days of age – 1.5-2 ml once;

– Calves 5-6 – days of age – 8-10 ml once;

– Lambs 3-5 – days of age – 2-3 ml once;

– Mink – 0.3-0.5 ml once;

– Sows – 10 ml once 3-4 weeks before farrowing.

With the purpose of treatment drug is injected 2 times with an interval of 7 days in the same doses.

Allergic reactions are possible . In place of injection may occur light swelling, which disappears in a few days.
