Pharmacological properties

Sinestrol – hormonal drug, biological and medicinal properties similar to steroid hormones estrogen.

After applying sinestrol in the genital tract of females there are changes observed in estrus (increases blood flow to the genitals, activation of the proliferation of the endometrium, there are changes in the mammary glands).

After the introduction of the drug is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and is distributed in organs and tissues of the animal.

Application

Sinestrol 2% solution is used for the treatment of endometritis in animals for the removal of the placenta, and mummified fetuses, to enhance the function of the mammary glands, for the manifestation of hunting in healthy female (ovarian hypofunction).

Dosage

Apply sinestrol 2% subcutaneously cows and horses on the 0.25-2.5 ml, in diseases of ovarian stimulation and heat – twice 18-24 hours; when endometritis – the same dose for 6-8 days.

Contraindications

Do not use in diseases of the liver, kidneys and pregnancy.
