excipients  – up to 1 ml.

DESCRIPTION. Oily liquid of light yellow color.

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS. ATCvet QP53FA, insecticides; pyrethrin, including synthetic compounds.

Deltamethrin (active substance of the drug) – synthetic pyrethroids, which is effective against ectoparasites in direct contact. After dermal application, deltamethrin is slightly absorbed through skin of cattle and sheep and remains available to the target ectoparasite. The main route of excretion of the absorbed amount in the target animal is the faeces. In terms of residues, fat is the target issue.

Deltamethrin affects neurotransmission in the target parasite. Upon absorption deltamethrin initially stimulates the nervous system leading to hyperexcitement with tremors and spasms. After the excitement phase the action of nerve cells becomes inhibited leading to paralysis and death of the parasite.

 APPLICATION. Treatment and prevention of ectopara­sites lesions of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, dogs and cats:

cattle: ticks of parasitiforme families Ixodidae, Ar­gasidae, Gamasoidea; itch ticks – Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes bovis, Chorioptes bovis; lice – Bovicola bovis; lice – Haematopinus eurysternus, Linogna­thus vituli; subcutaneous gadfly – Hypoderma bovis, H. lineatum;

sheep, goats: ticks of family Ixodidae; itch ticks – Psoroptes ovis, Sarcoptes ovis, Sarcoptes caprae, Chorioptes ovis, Chorioptes caprae; lice – Bovicola ovis, Bovicola caprae; lice – Linognathus ovillus, L. рedalis, Linognathus caprae; louse flies – Melopha­gus ovinus;

pigs: itch ticks – Sarcoptes suis, Sarcoptes parvula; lice – Haematopinus suis;

horses: ticks of parasitiforme families Ixodidae, Ar­gasidae, Gamasoidea; itch ticks – Psoroptes equi, Sarcoptes equi; lice – Bovicola equi; lice – Haemato­pinus asini; louse flies – Hyppobosca equina;

dogs and cats: ticks of parasitiforme families Ixodi­dae, Argasidae, Gamasoidea, itch ticks – Sarcoptes canis, Otodectes cynotis, Notoedres cati; fleas – Ctenocephalides canis, C. felis; lice – Siphunculata – Linognathus setosus; mallofaga – Trichodectes canis; louse flies – Hyppobosca canis.

DOSAGE. Topically. Pour on the product along the backline of the animals from the head to the tail.  It is used as single and repeat application at the doses given in the table.

CONTRAINDICATIONS. Do not process young ani­mals under the age of two months. Do not apply to ani­mals with individual sensitivity (allergy) to the drug. Do not process frail and sick animals, do not treat animals by spraying finely dispersed. Do not use for females dur­ing estrus, pregnancy and lactation.

PRECAUTIONS. Slaughter of animals for meat is al­lowed after 5 days, the use of milk for human nutrition – in 3 days after the last treatment with the drug. While working with the product follow common rules. When processing animals use personal protective equipment (clothing, respirators, rubber gloves, goggles).

STORAGE. The drug is stored in a dry, dark, well venti­lated room at the temperature from 4°C to 30°C. Do not store together with food, drinks, keep away from heating appliances and open fire.

SHELF-LIFE – 3 years from the date of manufacture.
