PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS. ATCvet code QP53AC, pyrethroids, including synthetic compounds (QP53AF15, diazinon)
The active substance – diazinon is insecto-acaricide of contact action that inhibits acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme necessary for the functioning of the nervous system of insects and ticks. Diazinon, which is part of the collar, gradually exuding from the surface of the polymer tape, transfers to the hair of animals showing acaricidal properties against fleas, lice and ticks.
APPLICATION. Prevention and treatment of dogs and cats with lesions of fleas (Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalides felis), lice (Linognahus setosus), lice (Trichodectes canis) and ticks (Ixodes ricinus).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE Remove Collar from packaging and put on the neck of the animal, fix it with buckles saving some gap between the neck and collar.
For animals depending on the type and body weight is used collars of different sizes (respectively containing different amounts of the active substance):
•for cats – length of 30 + 5 cm
•for small breeds of dogs (5 kg) – length of 40 + 5 cm
•for medium breeds of dogs (5-15 kg) – length of 40-50 cm
•for large breeds of dogs (15 kg or more) – length of 60-75 cm
Continuous use of collar protects animals from ectoparasites within 3-4 months.
CONTRAINDICATIONS. Do not use for sick, exhausted and weakened animals. Do not use for puppies and kittens under the age of 2 months. Do not use for lactating animals and in the last third part of pregnancy.
PRECAUTIONS. Open primary packaging of a collar just before applying. After fixing the collar on the animal wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
STORAGE. The product is stored in a dry, dark, well ventilated room on the shelves, in a package of the manufacturer, at the temperature from 5°C to 25°C. Keep away from food and feed.
SHELF-LIFE – 2 years from the date of production. After opening the primary packaging – 4 months.
