DESCRIPTION.Lactic acid is a colorless syrupy or slightly yellowish liquid with sour taste with low specific smell.

APPLICATION AND DOSAGE. Apply inside 40% lactic acid for the prevention and treatment of intestinal inflammation, gastritis with reduced secretory function, tympany of ruminants and also in case of flatulence and acute gastric dilatation as an aid for relaxation of the sphincter, in the following doses per animal: horses – 5-35 ml, cattle – 8-40 ml, sheep – 1,5-7,5 ml pigs – 0,5-7,5 ml, dogs – 0,2-2,5 ml, foxes – 0,7-2,5 ml set in aqueous solution of no more than 2% concentration.

In case of trichomoniasis of cattle vagina is irrigated by 1%  aqueous  solution.  In  ulcerative  lesions  of  the  skin and mucous membranes is used as cautery drug in the form of 10-40% solutions. In order to increase egg production of laying hens is used at a dose of 0.5 ml of 40% concentration per 1 kg of feed (500 ml per 1 ton of feed) for 3 consecutive months. For disinfection of air in incubators, poultry houses, calf houses and other livestock premises in the presence of poultry and animals is used in the form of an aerosol (spray 20% acid) at a dose of 15-20 ml/m3.

CONTRAINDICATIONS. Gastritis  with  increased  secretion, weeping ulcers, tuberculosis, acute renal failure.

PRECAUTIONS. Products from animal and poultry after application of the drug can be used without any restrictions.

STORAGE. Dry, dark place in a sealed packaging at temperature not above 20°C.
