Enrofloxacin is an antimicrobial agent of a wide range of activities from the group of fluoroquinolones. The drug has antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Corinebacterium spp., Pseudomonas, E. coli, Haemophilus spp., Salmonella spp., Klebsiella spp. , Proteus spp., Pasteurella spp. And others), and also acts on mycoplasmas and chlamydia. The mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of bacterial DNA-gyrosis, which leads to a breach of DNA replication of bacteria. The drug is well and quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and is distributed in organs and tissues. Therapeutic concentrations are reached in 1-1.5 hours after administration and stored for 24 hours.

The drug has antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (E. coli, Klebsiella spp., Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., Enterobacter spp., Proteus spp., Shigella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp .; Haemophilus spp., Chlamidia), and also acts on toxoplasma and coccidia. Mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of bacterial reductase dihydrofolic acid.
